As reported earlier, Fox Sports 1 pulled a fast one on, well, Fox Sports 1 today.  During a live look in on the studio during an NFL segment, analyst and Hall of Fame former player Terry Bradshaw slipped in an “F-bomb”.  The segment was live for the world to see.

“FOX Sports apologizes for the inadvertent and inappropriate language heard during a commercial break on Friday’s edition of FOX Football Daily on FOX Sports 1,” the network wrote in an apology. “The personalities in the studio, including Terry Bradshaw, were unaware that we’d be going to the set live at that time. We apologize to Terry and viewers who unfortunately heard the comments. We are reviewing our procedures to make sure this does not happen again.”

Quite honestly I find the thought of the “Blonde Bomber” busting out F-bombs on live television somewhat hilarious, but yes, children may have been watching.

Bradshaw has always been outspoken and in the limelight since his days as a chucker for the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Kudos to the network for the expected apology, though.

So what can we get out of this?  Terry Bradshaw on a late night NFL talk show on a paid premium channel, perhaps?  Just a thought – but I’m sure in the future Fox Sports will be a little more careful and actually warn their on-air talent before a live look-in occurs.
