The Green Bay Packers expect to play tight end Jermichael Finley in today’s game against the Washington Redskins, but there is some concern about whether or not Finley’s toe will force him to leave the game before the final whistle.

From Will Carroll of Bleacher Report:

"Jermichael Finley is listed as Probable, but my sources are telling me that the Packers are more worried that Finley will come up hobbling mid-game than not starting it. They’ve got gameplans ready with and without Finley, so there’s some downside here. Finley doesn’t even have that much upside—he’s the 14th TE on Numberfire’s Week 2 projections with 4.9 points. If you need to start him this week, make sure he’s active."

Obviously there will be plenty of concern for fantasy football players who are looking to finalize their line ups, so proceed with caution.

If you have another option at tight end that is more certain, it may be wise to go in that direction instead of toeing a dangerous line with Finley’s status.
