The NFC West battle that will pit the San Francisco 49ers against the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night already had enough reasons to watch, but now according to NBC’s Michele Tafoya, we have another.

Weather.

There isn’t a football fan out there who doesn’t enjoy a blustery snow capped game or a mild downpour and that’s exactly what we’re looking at (sans the snow, obviously) as Tafoya, who is covering the game for Sunday Night Football says that the weather will be ‘fierce’.

"Weather expected to be fierce today in #Seattle. Rain not a friend to the passing game."

More than just in terms of watching the game, the weather could play a large role in how you set your fantasy lineups. Given the Seahawks and 49ers won’t play until this evening, you’re somewhat stuck in your options. Heavy rain is never accommodating to star fantasy players outside of a running back or defenses, so I say adjust accordingly if need be.
