Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick are poised to have a tug-of-war for power in the NFC West for quite some time.  They have similar styles of quarterbacking, and share a mutual respect for one another.   The combination of mobility and a big NFL arm — and leading teams that have been on the rise the last few years — is something these two young QB’s share.  It seems like a recipe for the next big NFL rivalry.

Something they may not share for much longer is two eyebrows.  As has been widely reported, and seen on national television, the loser of this Sunday’s match up has to shave en eyebrow.  Check it out below if you missed it.

Beneath all the hype and buildup, it seems like these two are forming a friendship as well.  Russell Wilson recently spoke to the Seattle media about his admiration and respect for Kaepernick.

“I got to know him a little bit. He’s a great kid. He’s a great person. Obviously he’s very, very dedicated to what he does and you like him for that, for sure. He’s got a lot of talent. He’s been doing really well for the past however many games he has been playing. You love watching him play. He’s got a lot of talent and he can do a lot of great things. So I’ve got a lot of respect for him.” Wilson told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Of course it could all be lip service, but I have a feeling these two players do have a genuine respect for one another.  Come Sunday night however, you can expect all bets to be off — and someone’s eyebrow.
