The Houston Texans confirmed that wide receiver Andre Johnson has a concussion from Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans.

“He did have a concussion,” Kubiak said, via the team’s website. “He’s obviously in the protocol. He’s doing great today. He’s out. Rode the bike today. Doing great, but he is in the protocol right now.”

That has his availability for the week three match up against the Ravens in Baltimore.

“Obviously it will be an end of the week decision because he’s gotta go through the process,” Kubiak said. “But I think after the game, talking to him, seeing where he’s at today, obviously he’s doing really well. I would expect the prorgress to go pretty quickly if it goes like it has the last 24 hours.”

The Texans will want Johnson back, but hopefully he doesn’t rush back too soon and risk injuring himself again.
