The San Francisco 49ers are continually praised for being one of the best teams in the NFL. The Seattle Seahawks, who stomped all over those 49ers Sunday night don’t feel as if they’ve been getting the same respect, something that clearly hasn’t sat well with mouthy defensive back, Richard Sherman.

Never one to miss an opportunity to talk some smack, Sherman suggested that pundits and ‘ignorant idiots’ stop doubting his team:

"“There are a lot of pundits and ignorant idiots who thought, ‘Oh, the Seahawks are gonna lose this game.’ Well, please, please don’t doubt us again,” Sherman told NBC’s Michele Tafoya after the 29-3 win. “Every time you doubt us, you look stupid.”"

Nobody will ever question the Seahawks at home, considering they’re almost unbeatable at CenturyLink Field. On the road however, that’s a different story.

Despite that, Sherman and the Seahawks held serve and feel they need to be put into the same echelon as the 49ers among others (I already thought they were, but apparently not to Sherman).
