The San Diego Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles played one of the better games during Week Two, a contest that came down to a last second, game winning field goal which saw the Bolts come away with a 33-30 victory.

Philadelphia Eagles tackle Fletcher Cox probably wasn’t very happy about that, but at least he can take solice in the fact that he didn’t help Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers up from his seat on the turf.

Midway through the fourth quarter, after Cox had chased down Rivers who was in a scramble, Rivers fell to the ground. He was engaged in a conversation with the referee, likely complaining about something when Cox decided to put his two cents in.

Rivers saw Cox’s arm nearby and decided to extend his hand out to Cox’s for assistance up, something Cox wasn’t having as he pushed Rivers away, causing the referee to stop anything further by grabbing Cox’s hand.

Not sure what Rivers was thinking there considering some NFL coaches will fine you for helping up opponents, a fine Cox wasn’t interested in paying obviously.
