The Chicago Bears are preparing themselves to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in hopes of starting off the year 3-0.

Last week Tillman left the game early for a couple of plays with what looked to be a knee problem. He was standing on the sidelines getting checked out by doctors and appeared to be putting very little pressure on it at the time before jogging up and down the sidelines. Oh and he always saved the sideline reporters life.

Peanut has been a key player for this defense with his ability to shut down receivers, force fumbles and contributes with interceptions. He was held out of practice today, no official word on how serious the injury may be, but he played the remainder of the game against Minnesota with it.

He may not be in serious danger of missing Sunday’s game, but he will be a player the teams and fans should watch as the week goes on.

Tight end Martellus Bennett was limited today during practice. According to Mike Wright on Twitter, Bennett was being a little dramatic after saying he messed up his shoulder against the Vikings. I know he took a bit of a spill at the back of the end zone early on and ended up colliding with the camera man who was working the end zone.

Both players will play a big role in Sunday’s game against the Steelers, so hopefully both of them are ready to go come Sunday night.
