There are few players on the Chicago Bears’ offense more important than Brandon Marshall, so when he went down with a back injury during practice this afternoon, there was obvious concern.

Thankfully though, even though Marshall had to leave practice and will likely be limited tomorrow in practice (assuming he practices at all), the hope is that he’ll be fine.

Per Brad Biggs:

"#Bears WR Brandon Marshall was removed from practice midway thru today with a tight back. Hope is he will be fine."

Marshall has 15 receptions and two touchdowns through the first two games of the 2013-14 season.

If he was to miss time, it’s likely the Bears would force feed tight end Martellus Bennett even more than normal (who, by the way, was upgraded to a ‘full’ practice participant today after nursing a shoulder injury) along with running back Matt Forte.

That said, it’s still appearing that barring a setback, Marshall will be available for Week 3, even if he doesn’t practice tomorrow.
