Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush has proven to be a valuable part of their offense. In the season opener he had 191 all-purpose yards, but that game left him banged up with 3 injuries. The one that seems to be the most lingering is his knee injury, and that could have the Lions holding Bush out of their week three contest against the Washington Redskins.

From Pro Football Talk:

"Bush has a knee injury, and the Lions have listed him as questionable. Technically a 50-50 proposition, the scales could tilt toward shutting him down for Week Three.Per a league source, the Lions may opt to play it safe with Bush. They want him to be available for the long haul, and so they’re inclined to give him a week off to heal before putting him back in harm’s way."

If Bush makes the trip to Washington you can assume he is a game-time decision. That might make him a risky player to start in your fantasy league though. Only run the risk of starting him if you’re paying close attention and can quickly make a change if he isn’t starting.
