The Dallas Cowboys defense has been much improved in 2013, after bringing on Monte Kiffin as the new defensive coordinator. Forcing turnovers and recording sacks at an incredible rate, one of the team’s stars reached a milestone on Sunday afternoon during their dominating performance over the St. Louis Rams.

In the third quarter, Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware recorded his second sack of the day, which landed him as the team’s all-time sack leader.

It was the 115th sack of Ware’s career. He surpasses the previous mark, which was held by Harvey Martin.

The Cowboys have looked like the best team in the NFC East throughout the first three weeks of the season and they could find themselves sitting in first-place barring an epic collapse in the fourth quarter of today’s game.

St. Louis is currently in the red zone with the third quarter coming to an end, but they trail 24-0 and have shown no signs of mounting any serious attack.

It’s been all Dallas in Arlington.
