The Dallas Cowboys are looking to rebound after a tough loss against the Kansas City Chiefs with a win over the St. Louis Rams at home today. A lot of their hopes rest in the hands of wide receiver Dez Bryant who hasn’t had quite the start to his season he had hoped for.

In week one Dez Bryant suffered a mild foot sprain and Bryant has dealt with back stiffness all week stemming form an injury in week two.

“I can roll,” Bryant said, via ESPN Dallas. “We were just watching the situation. Don’t want to go out there and do anything crazy. We’ve got a long season.”

“No concern. I got hit in my back. That’s what happened,” he said. “If you take a blow to the back the way I took a blow to the back, you’re probably going to feel the same way I feel.”

Through two games he has 13 catches for 163 yards and one touchdown. The Cowboys’ play callers have come under fire for underutilizing him in the game against the Chiefs including a lot of one-on-one situations. Dez has been dimplomatic instead of being a typical diva wide receiver, something he won’t be commended enough for.

“I just feel like we’ve got a lot of playmakers on this team,” Bryant said. “Versus man coverage, you can basically go either way. You’ve got me and (Jason Witten) on the same side. You’ve got Terrance Williams. You’ve got Miles Austin. You’ve got Dwayne (Harris) also coming in. All of us can make some plays. That’s what you deal with each and every week. It’s all good. My number’s called, I’ll do my job.”

With the media doing the pushing for more balls to come Dez’s way the Cowboys could lean heavily on the wide receiver this week, it could set up a big game for Dez.
