Earlier today we heard on GameDay First, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Reggie Bush is “pushing to play.” This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise considering Bush’s own comments earlier this week.

From USA Today Sports:

"“It’s a long way to Sunday, but obviously I’m optimistic about playing. I always am. But today was a good day.“The progress thus far since last Sunday has been really good. I feel a lot further than I expected. It feels a lot better than I thought it was going to feel, so I’m happy where it is right now. Today was a very positive day, so we’ll just see what happens tomorrow.”"

Now we have ESPN’s NFL Insider Adam Schefter reporting that Reggie Bush in fact will not play Sunday against the Washington Redskins.

There have been a lot of back and forth on whether or not Bush will play. That makes me hesitant to start him on my Fantasy Football team. Even if he does manage to talk his way onto the field it will likely be in a limited role and you wouldn’t get the full production you’d want out of him anyways.
