The Dallas Cowboys are looking to get their season back on track this weekend as the St. Louis Rams come to town after a close loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last week. The Cowboys were 1 point away from possibly being heading into week 3 at 2-0, instead they’re 1-1.
St. Louis is in a similar situation having won their season opener at home against the Arizona Cardinals before losing on the road to the Atlanta Falcons. A win for the Rams would keep them in the NFC West race, a very tough and competitive division.
The Cowboys are looking to get their running game back on track this week. DeMarco Murray has 32 carries for 111 yards in the first two games.
“The running game has to start with myself,” Murray said, via ESPN. “As a running back and competitor, you want to have the opportunity to have some kind of uplift. I have to work hard this week and make sure I’m ready for the Rams game.”
There has been a lot of talk and a little finger pointing this past week as who was to blame. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, the Rams have been one of the league’s best defenses against the run. That could be an interesting match up to watch.
