It’s beginning to look like a rough week for wide receivers around the NFL.

After Dallas Cowboys wideout Miles Austin had to leave their game against the St. Louis Rams with a hamstring injury, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson had to do the same in his game against the New England Patriots.

Per WEEI.com:

"Buccaneers announce WR Vincent Jackson is questionable to return with a rib injury."

Jackson, who came over from the San Diego Chargers last season and is the Bucs’ top wideout began reaching towards his side before walking over to the Bucs sideline. The medical staff began to check him out and deemed he has a ‘rib injury’ though didn’t give any further explanation.

Jackson, during his tenure with the Chargers, was known to be a bit of a drama queen when it came to injuries, so it’s difficult to tell how serious the injury is. Either way, his return is questionable though considering the score and how awful quarterback Josh Freeman is playing, the Bucs may opt to keep Jackson on the sidelines.
