Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller left the team’s Week 3 match up against the New York Jets in the third quarter after tweaking his knee, but he does not expect the injury to keep him out of the team’s Week 4 meeting with the Baltimore Ravens.

Spiller said after the game that he just suffered a “twisted knee,” which caused him to lose his speed edge and explosiveness.

From Joe Buscaglia of WGR550, who is dialed in on the Bills beat:

The Bills will return to practice on Wednesday, so we will then get a better understanding of how Spiller’s knee is coming along.

You can expect him to be limited in practice early in the week, but he should pick up his workload on Friday if he plans on contributing in a big way as the team looks to bounce back from their loss to the Jets.
