Colin Kaepernick favoriting haters Tweets, for motivation?

The San Francisco 49ers hasn’t gotten off to quite the start they had hoped for. They are currently 1-2 and quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been looking at all the nay-sayers on Twitter and marking them as favorites, possibly for motivation?

Now I think he is onto something about the motivation part because on September 11th he favorited this Tweet:

So anyways, Kaepernick has been favoriting tweets from 49ers fans that are relatively negative since their loss on Sunday. They range from disgruntled fantasy owners, to 49ers fans calling for Alex Smith to return.

If I had Kaepernick on my team, I’d start him next week. Aside from the motivation they’re playing a St. Louis Rams team that was just dominated by the Dallas Cowboys.

Apparently this isn’t new to this week, he’s been doing it for a while since the Super Bowl loss. It has definitely picked up though since the loss to the Colts.
