Is week 3 too early to give the MVP trophy to Peyton Manning? Well maybe we don’t have to give it to him yet, but surely we can start etching his name on it right?

Manning is off to a stunning performance yet again as the Denver Broncos have opened up a 17 point lead midway through the second quarter. Manning has thrown a touchdown each to Eric Decker and Wes Welker.

The Broncos already have 12 first downs with nine of them coming on completions. Manning has completed 15 of 17 passes so far.

The Oakland Raiders offense is not doing much to help out the defense either. The Raiders have only 2 first downs and 60 total yards. If the Raiders are unable to make some big plays, then this game in Denver might get out of hand quickly.

Watching Manning and Pryor in the pocket, it is interesting to see the difference in each one’s demeanor. Manning seems so calm and Pryor is very jittery. Although it is probably easier to be calmer when you have a 17 point lead and you are throwing to the talented wide receivers that Manning is throwing to.
