Entering Sunday’s matchup with the Green Bay Packers and arguably the best wide receiver corps in the league, it was a Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver who may have emerged as a legitimate fantasy receiving option.

While the Packers’ receivers are lauded for their ability to pick up yards after the catch, it was Sanu who caught several balls and powered through Green Bay defenders for some nice YAC. He caught four pass for 68 yards Sunday after catching just five balls for 40 yards in Week 2 vs Pittsburgh, but he has been targeted 13 times in the past two games, and the Bengals are clearly trying to feature him the offense more.

Sanu has been regarded as the Bengals most promising WR prospect (not named A.J. Green) since they drafted him out of Rutgers last year, and teams starting to respect the two-tight end looks the Bengals utilize with Jermaine Gresham and Tyler Eifert, Sanu could soon become a legitimate fantasy option.

And you can’t forget about his midseason explosion last year. In the final three games that Sanu played prior to his season-ending foot injury, Sanu caught 11 passes, four of which were touchdowns.

At this point, you need to keep him on your watch list, and if something were to ever happen to Green, Sanu could very well become Dalton’s No. 1 target. Keep Sanu on your watch-list.
