Reggie Bush says he will play Week 4 vs. Chicago Bears
By Josh Sanchez
Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush tweaked his knee in Week 2, which led to him being forced to watch the team’s Week 3 match up against the Washington Redskins from the sideline as an inactive.
Bush likely would have had a huge day against the putrid Redskins defense, but the team decided to proceed with caution and hold him out of action.
However, the team’s starting running back plans to come back and suit up for the Lions big Week 4 match up against the undefeated Chicago Bears. In fact, Bush felt that he could have played this weekend.
“I could have played [Sunday],” Bush said, via the Detroit Free Press. “I for sure could have played today, I just don’t know if I could have took a hit today on it. I practiced Friday, did a workout Saturday, ran. Everything was normal. I just wasn’t sure if I could take a hit yet. So that was the risk that we were dealing with. But this week I’ll be fine.”
Without Bush in the line up, back up Joique Bell was able to rack up 132 total yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy owners have to be upset that one of the most productive teams in the league was unable to take advantage of such a great match up.
