With the news that the Detroit Lions lost slot wide receiver Nate Burleson, there were some rumblings that they could look around the league for an upgrade over Ryan Broyles. It seems that every time there are rumblings of a potential wide receiver trade that Miles Austin’s name surfaces, but the Dallas Cowboys No. 2 wideout is reportedly not on the trading block.
From NFL reporter Mike O’Hara:
Dallas source says rule out MIles Austin as possible WR for Lions. Cowboys all in to win weak NFC Least, with Wash., Philly. Giants in tank

Let’s all take a moment to enjoy O’Hara’s little shot at the NFC East there before moving on…
Okay, now that the little jab is out of the way, Cowboys fans can really appreciate the fact that their team is finally all-in to win something.
Dallas has looked like they are clearly the best team in the division throughout the first three weeks of the season, so it would make no sense for them to trade one of their top options before entering the final stretch of the season.
