San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers had a couple of memorable moments in the Chargers 20-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans Sunday.

The game had a fairly funny conclusion when the Chargers attempted to create a Stanford-Cal ending with about 100 laterals. At the end of the play, Rivers kicked the ball to a teammate, which is illegal. He was flagged and a hilarious GIF came of it.

Earlier in the game, Rivers was flagged after screaming at an official. Rivers had just thrown a touchdown to wide receiver Eddie Royal, but he was flagged for pass interference and the touchdown was called back. That also produced a couple of hilarious GIFs.

On Tuesday, Rivers told reporters he didn’t say anything out of line when he screamed at the referee.

Nothing I can’t repeat,” Rivers told Mark McCarter of when asked what he said to the refs. “I don’t know. I think it was more of the hand wave-off. But I didn’t say one thing that was out of line. Again, that’s no excuse. I’m certainly not proud of getting a penalty.”

In the game, Rivers was 20-of-24 for 184 yards with one touchdown.

Rivers “cry-baby” antics finally caught up to him. It cost the Bolts the game. With the Rivers penalty the Chargers could only muster the field goal = 3 points instead of a TD. When the Titans won by three that other 4 points from a TD would have won the game for the Bolts. Officials around the league are NOW aware of Rivers behavior and may keep the flags flying. If McCoy had balls he should grabbed Rivers by the face mask and jerked him around for those school yard antics. Rivers is playing well this season but he lacks a complete team with the defense being so deficient. Second half collapses must stop if the Bolts want to attain a respectable record this year.
