New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been rapidly improving throughout the past few weeks as he nears closer to making his 2013-14 debut and the often-injured star was once again a full participant in the team’s practice.

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick stated that Gronkowski has “definitely made progress,” but he didn’t have much more to offer in terms of Gronkowski’s Week 4 status — which is very Belichick-esque.

With the improvements that Gronkowski has made, it seems very likely that he will be a game-time decision when the team takes on the Atlanta Falcons this weekend on Sunday Night Football.

With quarterback Tom Brady growing increasingly frustrated with the young and inexperienced Patriots wide receivers, Gronkowski’s return to the field will be very welcomed.

The team did finally receive some great production from undrafted free agent wide receiver and everyone’s favorite fantasy football sleep Kenbrell Thompkins, so the addition of Gronkowski would open things up for the young wideout and Patriots passing game even more.

We will have more on Gronkowski’s availability for Week 4 as the week goes on.
