Earlier this week, it was announced that the Indianapolis Colts were planning to use both Ahmad Bradshaw and the newly acquired Trent Richardson in a split running back committee – much to the chagrin of some Colt fans. There was no word on how long the arrangement would last, though, the Colts suggested they enjoyed the split pairing.

It won’t happen this week.

Bradshaw, who has been dealing with a neck injury has been ruled out for Week 4, which will give way for Richardson as the feature back – a job he could potentially run away with, especially if Bradshaw’s neck injury continues to linger.

"Colts announce Ahmad Bradshaw is out. That is a surprise. LaRon Landry also out. TY Hilton will play."

There was some concern that Richardson still might not be completely comfortable with the Colts’ playbook, though given a tasty matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend, he couldn’t have asked for a better scenario.

Bradshaw missed practice all week and remains a question mark for Week Five.
