This week the Cleveland Browns are taking on the Cincinnati Bengals. The Browns are coming off an emotional victory over the Minnesota Vikings. The Bengals are coming off their own emotional win over the Green Bay Packers in a roller coaster of a game.

The Browns have been a strong defense this year, against the pass this year as well. They’ve only allowed 215.7 yards per game this season, the 12th best in the league according to ESPN.

“It’s not like we’re scared,” cornerback Joe Haden said, per The Plain Dealer. “They have to plan for us, too. It’s not all about what they’re doing, it’s about what we’re gonna do to them. We have to come out and be aggressive and put hits on people. He’s really, really talented, but you’ve got T.J. (Ward) and (Tashaun) Gipson over the top, lurking, ready to come across the middle if he comes across the middle.”

For the Browns they have the tough task of stopping Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green. In 3 games he has caught 19 passes for 249 yards and 3 touchdowns.

“I’m not just gonna run along with him and try to let him jump over me,” Haden said. “It’s gonna be a really, good, intense matchup. It’s not a scared thing at all. It’s gonna be a battle. You gotta know sometimes they might get theirs, but you gotta be able to get yours a lot more.”

So far Green has gotten the better of Haden in their match-ups. It will be an interesting battle to watch on Sunday.
