Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones is watching his team sit comfortable atop the NFC East and the team can continue impress during the 2013-14 NFL regular season with another win this weekend when they travel to Qualcomm Stadium to take on the San Diego Chargers.

The Cowboys have been impressive throughout the first three weeks of September, but Jones still seemed a bit surprised when he looked at the betting lines and saw his team listed as the favorite to take home the win.

“I’m surprised we’re the favorite, being on the road,” Jones said in a video on the official team website.

While Jones was surprised the team isn’t the underdog during their road trip, he did admit he is very happy with the strides the team is making and what they could accomplish this season.

“This team is getting better, and this team is better than the team we’ve had the last few years,” he added.

Jones is hoping that his team can live up to those expectations and come away with the road win, which would help them continue to show they are the class of the NFC East.
