Twitter is pretty much used by everybody and their grandparent’s. It’s pretty much the most used social networking tool available and professional athletes are among the most followed ‘Tweeters’ in the world.

Almost the entire roster for the Los Angeles Lakers had Twitter accounts already set up, the only one who kept themselves off of Twitter was second year center Robert Sacre.

Now my first post with FanSided was actually about Sacre. If you haven’t noticed, I’m a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. I was a little bummed out that Dwight left the team, but quickly moved on and focused more on Sacre.

Although we have Chris Kaman on the roster, Sacre is the future of this organization. He was one of the most energetic players this team had on the bench, there have been countless times where he was seen dancing after the team made a big play.

Well now that he has Twitter, he’s more than likely going to be the most active member of this team. The guy seems like the type who will interact with fans as much as he possibly can and now that he set up a Twitter handle, things are about to get wild.

Here’s a picture of him at media day.
