The NFL is full with the top football players in the sport, but every now and then you need a little bit of luck to go your way because skill is simply not enough. Perhaps no team in the league knows more about luck than the Seattle Seahawks — thanks Fail Mary — and they had a few bounces go their way again on Sunday.

During the team’s game against the Houston Texans, Seahawks safety Earl Thomas was able to scoop up an interception after Matt Schaub’s pass was tipped.

It wasn’t just a normal tip, however, because at least four players had a chance to come away with the ball.

After the ball was poked out of Texans tight end Owen Daniels’ hands, it went into berserker mode and bounced around the field before ultimately landing in Thomas’ hands.

That is the reason you practice the tip drill, folks.

Thomas should also be applauded for his concentration on the play.
