Entering Sunday’s game against the league’s worst defense in the Washington Redskins, the Oakland Raiders and Terrelle Pryor looked poised to have big days and get the team’s second win of the year.
It looked as though Pryor was going to play and he and running back Darren McFadden were going to have a big day as the Raiders jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead, and looked ready to ride him to just their second win of the season.
But after Pryor was ruled-out with a concussion and McFadden suffered a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined for most of the game, backup quarterback Matt Flynn couldn’t sustain any offensive drives, and the Raiders dropped a 24-14 contest.
It looks as though the Raiders will at least be getting Pryor back this week:
Raiders HC Dennis Allen said Terrelle Pryor is ready to start on Monday Morning Football vs. Chargers.
