Arizona Cardinals have ‘no interest’ in Josh Freeman

Well now that Josh Freeman is out of Tampa Bay, it’s time for him to try to find a new home after the Buccaneers failed to trade him.

A team that was quickly in the spotlight was the Arizona Cardinals. Right now the Cardinals are sitting with veteran quarterback Carson Palmer who will most likely be their starting quarterback for the remainder of the year unless he were to get injured.

According to Kent Somers on Twitter, the Arizona Cardinals have absolutely no interest in signing the fresh free agent quarterback.

Another team that has counted out Freeman as a possibility is the Jacksonville Jaguars. That decision by such a horrible team has me confused.

Let’s take a look at Jacksonville’s quarterback situation shall we? When you look at the numbers and compare them between Gabbert and Freeman, Freeman quickly wins that battle.

Gabbert has only 300 yards passing this season with zero touchdowns and five interceptions. Henne has put up better numbers with over 500 yards passing, two touchdowns and one touchdown.

Freeman on the other hand has the ability to be a mobile quarterback, he isn’t the fastest but he has legs on him. Probably quicker than the quarterbacks on Jacksonville’s roster. He has almost 600 yards passing in three games with two touchdowns and three interceptions.

So why would they deny interest in Freeman when he could clearly step in and at least give Jacksonville a fighting chance? Yeah he’s only completed 45 percent of his passes, but despite being released by Tampa Bay, this kid still has a bright road ahead of him, or at least I believe in him.

What’s the deal Jacksonville? Do you guys want to win at all?
