Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Garnett may not sit that much during back-to-back games

Brooklyn Nets basketball is going to be very exciting to watch this upcoming season. Yeah they have a lot of older veterans on their team, but those veterans are still able to put up some decent numbers.

Now after Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry were acquired by the Brooklyn Nets during the NBA Draft, new head coach Jason Kidd was set on resting Garnett during back-to-back games. According to general manager Billy King, he said in an interview with NBATV that Garnett may not sit in all back-to-back sets.

"“We’re going to go into the season and let him play. There’s not a strict schedule where [Garnett] is off this day or off this day.” Billy King told NBATV."

Seven players on this roster have been in the league for 10+ seasons. Of course Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce lead the roster with 18 and 15 years in the league. But with point guard Deron Williams, I think this team will still be able to surprise the league and it’s fans.

You can’t count a team out until you see how everything plays out on the court. These older guys have a lot of playoff experience that could not only help this team, but motivate it as well.

Any of the young guys like Tornike Shengelia, Tyshawn Taylor or Mirza Teletovic who are entering their second year in the league, could really take advantage of these 15+ year veterans.

So what do you think Brooklyn Nets fans, are you excited about this season? What seed will you guys lock up for the playoffs and do you think this team could take it all? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
