If the all-brown uniforms by the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football wasn’t enough, Breast Cancer Awareness Month marks the return of pink gloves, cleats, towels and even penalty flags.
Maybe it is the combination of the awful Browns uniforms and the bright pink flags, but something wasn’t working on the NFL Network broadcast and fans weren’t shy about voicing their unhappiness with the pink overload on social media.
Just how upset were people with the flags? Have a look for yourself:
Pink penalty flags for the next month..now that's a little excessive

I'm all for breast cancer awareness, but this is a little too much pink for me. Especially the penalty flags and the first down marker.

@darrenrovell great idea but don't let players wear pink towels. already had 2 towels on the ground looking like flags

Apparently everyone has forgotten that pink flags were also used last year.
What do you think of the pink penalty flags being used? Does it bother you or is it something that isn’t a big deal and can easily be ignored? Sound off in the comments section below and share your thoughts.
