Buffalo Bills to bring in Pat White

As has been reported across multiple outlets, Buffalo Bills quarterback EJ Manuel suffered an LCL sprain to his right knee and will

likely miss 4 to 6 weeks

.

So far in 2013, the rookie Manuel has looked promising.  He has gone 85 for 150 (56.7%), thrown for 5 touchdowns to 3 interceptions, and rushed 25 times for 91 yards in leading the Bills to a somewhat surprising 2-3 record.

Now it appears the Buffalo Bills will be bringing in journeymen mobile quarterback Pat White.

According to Ian Rapoport, White will be in for a workout with the team.

It is still unclear if Pat White will actually be signed.  In 13 games with the Miami Dolphins, White attempted 5 passes and completed none, in 2009.  And those are the only stats, or lack thereof, to speak of.

The other option is rookie Jeff Tuel out of Washington State.

Tuel went 8 of 20 passing with 80 yards and an interception in relief of Manuel last week.  So really neither White nor Tuel present any kind of real experience for the Bills.  It looks for now that Buffalo will be hopping from one rookie to the next and hope for the best until Manuel is able to return.
