The Oakland Raiders have apparent interest in quarterback Josh Freeman, but does he have interest in them? It’s something we could find out, early as this weekend as Pro Football Talk is reporting the free agent quarterback could sign with a team at some point during the next 48 hours.

Per PFT:

"Free agent quarterback Josh Freeman may be a free agent no longer as soon as this weekend.A league source tells PFT that Freeman could pick a new team by Sunday night."

As mentioned above, the Raiders reportedly have interest in Freeman though it’s unlikely in a starting role as that appears to be locked up by Terrelle Pryor. Rumors have suggested that the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns didn’t have any trade interest in Freeman, but nabbing Freeman for free (especially after the Browns lost quarterback Brian Hoyer this past Thursday) outside of a base salary might hold more interest for the quarterback needy teams. Of course, the Buffalo Bills are also in search of a quarterback, though Freeman would all but be benched once EJ Manuel returns from his injury, though that could potentially be 6-8 weeks.

Needless to say, there are options out there, but just how many, we don’t know.

We might found out soon though.
