While the New England Patriots will be without running back Stevan Ridley and tight end Rob Gronkowski in Week 5, the team contininues to believe that injury-prone wide receiver Danny Amendola will be able to return for their match up against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Amendola has been out with a groin injury and the optimism about his status continued to get stronger once he was able to practice on Friday.

Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald confirms the belief inside of the Patriots organization:

If the Patriots continue to rack up the wins and hold on to their undefeated record, there is no doubt that they will be one of the top teams to challenge the Denver Broncos in the AFC, especially whenever they are able to have Rob Gronkowski back on the field.

At least that is the plan for their team.
