Brett Favre is in ‘best shape of his life’

I know, it sounds silly, but whenever you are working out the likes of Pat White, anything is possible. During NFL GameDay First on the NFL Network, Shannon Sharpe was already making a pitch for future Hall of Famer Brett Favre to make a return to the NFL.

Specifically speaking to the Buffalo Bills, Sharpe wanted everyone to know that Favre is in “best shape of his life.”

According to his former teammate turned NFL analyst, Favre is reportedly biking like a mad man and jogging around a few miles a day. Hey, that’s all it takes to be a successful NFL quarterback, right?

The idea that Favre would return to the NFL is ridiculous at this point, but for some reason people don’t want to let the idea go.

From Sharpe to Favre’s agent Bus Cook, people are determined to keep his name in the headlines as a darkhorse candidate. Well, it’s worked.

No one is going to sign Favre anytime soon, but expect to hear the rumblings of his tip-top shape continue as teams around the league watch quarterbacks go down to injury.
