Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman has reportedly been in talks with ten teams around the league, but there is one that is emerging as the clear cut favorite to land his services. If the latest reports are to be believed, the Oakland Raiders have “definite interest” in adding Freeman to their roster.

The news comes from Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

The most interesting nugget of a potential deal with Freeman and the Raiders is that Ian Rapoport said on NFL GameDay Morning on the NFL Network that the Raiders view him as a starter and would even make him their No. 1 over Terrelle Pryor, which would be a move the fan base would not be too pleased with.

Freeman believes that he is still a starter, so he will ultimately decide on a team where he feels he has the best chance to earn the starting job.

Apparently, the best shot will come with the Oakland Raiders. Stay tuned to this one.
