Jason Garrett says Tony Romo should've checked down on play that led to interception

The Dallas Cowboys lost to the Denver Broncos in a wild high scoring game. The Cowboys had gotten the ball back with about 2 and a half minutes left and just had to drive down the field. Preferably they would have used up almost all of the time left on the clock, then kick a field goal to win the game.

We all know what happened next. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo threw an interception giving the Broncos the ball back in great field position. Head coach Jason Garrett said that Romo should’ve checked down and thrown the ball to the running back instead.

If you aren’t quite sure what Garrett is talking about, here is a image of the play.
