The Dallas Cowboys lost to the Denver Broncos in a wild high scoring game. The Cowboys had gotten the ball back with about 2 and a half minutes left and just had to drive down the field. Preferably they would have used up almost all of the time left on the clock, then kick a field goal to win the game.
We all know what happened next. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo threw an interception giving the Broncos the ball back in great field position. Head coach Jason Garrett said that Romo should’ve checked down and thrown the ball to the running back instead.
Garrett said Romo should have thrown the ball to the back on the final pick rather than force it to Escobar

Garrett: Romo would like to have the decision on int back. It's unfortunate. He played an outstanding game. But you have to move forward

Everyone keeps blaming Escobar's route and Tyron's foot, but how bout the UNCOVERED checkdown to Demarco?#Cowboys pic.twitter.com/r2MixrhQ6i
