It’s not easy to find weaknesses with the San Francisco 49ers, though, if you had to point one out you’d likely look at their lack of wide receivers.

While Anquan Boldin has been a pleasant surprise, the same can’t be said for the rest of the corp as they’ve essentially been non-existent. Of course, thanks to the injuries suffered by Mario Manningham and Michael Crabtree, San Francisco has all but been forced to play their young reserves in starting roles, something that could be changing in the somewhat near future.

The Niners have stated that Manningham will likely return in the next few weeks, though, the outlook for Crabtree was a bit more murky. However, according to 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, it’s looking as if Crabtree will return to the field at some point during November.

Per Matt Barrows:

"Harbaugh says Michael Crabtree is on schedule to be “game ready” by mid to late November."
