The San Jose State Spartans are set to make their debut in the Mountain West Conference this coming weekend (at least from a basketball standpoint) and they plan on doing so in style as they recently released images of their brand new basketball court, which is probably nothing like you’ve ever seen.

While we’ve seen some unique court designs in the past (say like the Toronto Raptors’ optical illusion or the James Madison, uh, well – this thing) the Spartans new court features five Greek warriors who look like they just stepped out of the film 300 and onto the Event Center’s hardwood.

The warriors each have their own shield which spells out SJSU with the Spartans logo in the middle. The team also decided to go with a two-tone court look, changing the wood grain and color inside the keys which, while not completely unique is a bit different from the average.

There’s no doubt the court feels a bit crowded with all the graphics, but it does look neat despite that.
