Three teams will bid on Super Bowl LII: Indianapolis, Minneapolis and New Orleans. Super Bowl LII will take place in February of 2018.

It is hard to believe that New Orleans is already being considered for another Super Bowl with that whole black out debacle fresh in our minds. If New Orleans wins and hosts another Super Bowl it will be the 11th Super Bowl the city has hosted and the 8th in the Superdome.

Minneapolis and Indianapolis have each hosted the Super Bowl once before. Minneapolis hosted the Super Bowl in 1992 and Indianapolis hosted the Super Bowl recently, in 2012.

Indianapolis built a brand new stadium a couple of years ago and Minneapolis is building a new stadium for the Minnesota Vikings. The Super Bowl was just awarded to Santa Clara, and they’re currently building a new stadium for the San Francisco 49ers.

I think Minneapolis would be interesting, the pictures on their website show a cool and futuristic looking stadium.
