Patriots RB Stevan Ridley back at practice
By Mike Dyce
New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley has been spotted at practice on Wednesday. Ridley has been battling a knee injury.
Ridley missed every practice last week so this is a good sign, he also didn’t play against Cincinnati in the Patriots first loss of the season. Reiss doesn’t indicate whether or not Ridley was participating and in full gear at practice.
The fact that he doesn’t say otherwise makes me thing he was participating. A limited participation in practice is still a step in the right direction.
On the season Ridley has carried the ball 47 times for 174 yards, an average of 3.7 yards per carry. Serviceable but hardly dynamic. He has also caught 3 passes for 34 yards.
LeGarrette Blount filled in for Ridley in the loss against the Bengals. He carried the ball 12 times for 51 yards. Depending on Ridley’s health he could be back in full capacity or a limited role.
