Chicago Bears’ safety Major Wright is being sued

The look on this mans face explains it all.

As the Chicago Bears get set to take on the New York Giants tonight on the NFL Network to kick off Week 6 of the regular season, we thought maybe Brandon Marshall would be the only one in the headlines because of his green shoes.

Nah, that’s not the case anymore.

According to TMZ.com, the Bears’ safety Major Wright is being sued after supposedly borrowing $75 thousand last year to buy some South African Diamonds (21-31.5 carats according to TMZ), which are pretty big.

Now Wright hasn’t paid, no idea why he hasn’t considering he’s a professional athlete but, what’s happening now is he’s being sued by the two lenders.

The price Wright agree’d to pay back was $150 thousand. Which is pretty ridiculous. No idea what was going through the mind of Wright, but he clearly didn’t make the right decision. Did you see what I did there?

We never know what type of people professional athletes get involved with. Not saying this is sketchy or anything, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable lending out $75 thousand to anybody even if I could afford it.

I’m sure right now Wright just wishes he was fined by the league for an illegal hit or wearing the wrong color shoes.

Hope those diamonds were worth it, because he may end up having to pay more than that now.
