The Kansas City Chiefs have completed an incredible turnaround this season as they have gotten off to a 5-0 start, but they still have a monkey to get off their back when the division rival Oakland Raiders come to town.

Kansas City has not beaten the Raiders at home in six outings, but that is all expected to change today.

The Chiefs are listed as a double-digit favorite (10-points) entering Sunday afternoon’s meeting and one can only hope that they are able to live up to expectations and continue their best start in a decade.

Oakland is coming off of a big performance last weekend against the San Diego Chargers where they were able to force multiple turnovers, but this Chiefs offense has done an excellent job at hanging on to the ball. If they can do that again, they should roll past the Raiders.

The Chiefs have played nothing but sloppy teams this year. Beating teams with a combined record of 5-17. I’m sorry dude but the chief still suck. After
watching them almost get their butts kicked by the backup quarterback of the Tennessee Titans in a game that the titans should have won if it weren’t due to bad penalty calls by the refs. Yeah! The Raiders match up better with the chiefs than any other team they have faced and they just dominated the second best quarterback in the NFL in Philip Rivers. Expect the Raiders to handily beat the Chiefs and what would apparently shock some people but not Raiders nation. We see this coming

    • ……ChiefsFan……

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And next week the opposing fans will be preaching about how the Chiefs still haven’t beaten a team with a winning record. The Chiefs will be 6-0, and we will still see the same idiotic observations saying the Chiefs wins have come against teams with a combined 7-19 record, which will include your faiders. And you know what? It still won’t matter. You need to face the facts that the Chiefs are a really good team this year, and prepare yourself for another fourth place finish in the division.

      • Chris Schroeder

Another fourth-place finished? The only team that was in fourth place last year was your Quiefs. We’ll see
        after this Sunday… This game
should shut you up, and bring a lot of
        people back to reality.

        • ……ChiefsFan……

I just don’t see it happening. You think Pryor is going to beat us with his legs? Not happening (see Eagles game). You think you are going to be able to throw all day against the number one ranked pass defense? Not happening (see Cowboys game). You think you are going to win by playing ball controll offense accompanied by stellar defense? Not happening (see Titans game). This Chiefs team has beat teams with better offense both passing and rushing then the faiders, and a better defense in every way than you guys currently field.

So explain to me how you are so certain the faiders will win this game, because as I’ve said, I just don’t see it.

        **7-21 record

        • Chris Schroeder

You’re joking right? Pryor is faster than Vick, more athletic than Vick and has a stronger arm than Vick will ever have. And why am I seeing the Cowboys game as an example for if the Raiders can throw against you. Tony Romo’s nickname is “choke” because he
throws a lot of interceptions. Prior hasn’t thrown an interception since weak one. He is miles ahead of where he was in week one as far as ball control. And why am I seeing the Titans game? The Titans suck. Chiefs won that game against that a backup quarterback accompanied by bad officiating. If their starting quarterback was in the game, Chiefs would’ve lost to a OKTitan team. Raiders are amongst the top teams in rushing, and they are getting better every week. The Raiders defense just took down the second rank quarterback in the NFL and made him look like a rookie.

Furthermore, the Raiders are a storied franchise that coined the term “Nation” that all the other teams are copying. They are also a team known for having one of the greatest NFL teams ever assembled on record. A team that many NFL teams have model themselves after throughout the years. While the Raiders have done so much to strengthen the name of their organization, Kansas City is a team most people don’t even know exist. While we are building to get back to the glory days, the Chiefs are doing the same thing they always do, picking up the 49ers trash every time they throw out the garbage it ends up in Kansas City. So the chiefs to us Raiders fans are what we call “laughable” just another speed bump in our way back to victory
