The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a deflating and crushing loss. Owner Jerry Jones can call it a moral victory all he wants but the Cowboys were in it and had the ball and controlled the outcome of the game. That is when quarterback Tony Romo made the ill-fated throw that gave the game to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.

The whole Washington Redskins season has been disappointing. They came into 2013 riding high off of last season’s success which included an NFC East title and a playoff berth. This season has gotten off to a rocky start, the Redskins have a 1-3 record.

Unfortunately for the Cowboys the Redskins are coming off a bye week and have had extra time to prepare for this match up, that could give them the edge heading into this contest.

This game looks like it will be another shoot out. The Cowboys have proved that they’re not really capable of stopping anyone and are allowing 27.2 points per game this season. How bad is the Cowboys defense? They scored 48 points and lost. Fortunately, the Redskins defense doesn’t look to be much better. The Redskins are giving up an average of 28 points per game.

Prediction:

Cowboys-     38
Redskins-    35
