I don’t personally have any multimillionaire celebrity or athlete friends, but if I did, I’d probably have a very difficult time buying them gifts.

That’s likely how the manager of Golden State Warriors swingman Andre Iguodala felt when he was trying to come up with a Christmas gift for the NBA All-Star.

Iguodala, who is quite active on social media used to go by the Twitter handle @MindofAI9 though was told by his brand consultant (wait, how do you get one of those?!) that he needed to change his Twitter handle to something more simplified.

Of course, that’s easier than it sounds because if you’ve ever tried to come up with a Twitter handle name, you’ve probably ran into the problem of it being taken, especially if it was relatively simple, say like @Andre, Iguodala’s new handle.

So how did he snatch up one of the most simple names on the social media site? Simple. It was given to him, as a Christmas gift, by his manager.

Per ESPN Magazine:

"I was on Twitter early, but I had to get off because it’s hard tweeting and playing in Philly [he used the play for the Philadelphia 76ers]. I have a brand consultant who said we should change my handle from @MindofAI9. I don’t know what my business manager did to get it, but he gave me @Andre as a gift last Christmas."
