Tampa Bay Buccaneers dealing with another MRSA infection

It looks like there could be another MRSA infection involving a Tampa Bay Buccaneers player. Place kicker Lawrence Tynes got an MRSA infection and so did guard Carl Nicks. Tynes was put on the non-football injury list and he filed a grievance against the team over that designation

Aside from a third player being diagnosed, guard Carl Nicks had a recurrence as well.

Same place, same location,” said general manager Mark Dominik via the Tampa Bay Times. “From everything we’ve been told and understand, this does happen, which is why MRSA is hard to treat.”

More details to come following the press conference.
