The Buffalo Bills were looking to get on a hot streak and looked as if they had something going with their offense.

After their loss to the Cleveland Browns, they were down slot receiver Stevie Johnson and starting rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel. It was a close game, but as soon as Manuel exited, it was all Cleveland after that.

Manuel will be out for a couple of weeks and Johnson could possibly return either tomorrow or next week. With Lewis being sidelined for awhile, the Buffalo Bills signed quarterback Thad Lewis from the practice squad and is set to take over as starting quarterback while Manuel recovers.

"“I was blown away when I first started talking to him. He’s been in this kind of system before. I think he’s not going to have any setbacks from the mental standpoint. We’re going to keep on doing what we’re doing and see how he can execute that.” Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett told Buffalo News."

Lewis and the Bills take on the Cincinnati Bengals tomorrow. They’re hoping Lewis can get them back on track.
