I know what you’re thinking, ‘Hey, that’s not Kris Bryant in the picture!’ and I know, I know but I didn’t have any pictures of him available for me to use so this is the best I can do.

Anyways, Chicago Cubs 2013 second overall pick Kris Bryant has been tearing up the Arizona Fall League in it’s first week of play.

The future is very bright for this young prospect who could possibly be Major League ready by the 2015 season.

Third base is a spot that we really need help with and Bryant will be that solution. Even though I’m a big fan of Luis Valbuena. Not only does (Bryant) he have great defense, but he has a lot of power behind that bat of his. I mean look at this, Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, Junior Lake, Albert Almora, Javier Baez, Jorge Soler.

That’s a lot of power between those players and just putting them together in the same sentence is pretty exciting.

Now back to Bryant real quick. He’s currently tearing up the Arizona Fall League as he launched his second home run in three games. Bryant has gone 7-14 with two home runs and around seven RBI’s I believe.

And speaking of Albert Almora, he’s gone 6 for 10 in two games and in both games he’s hit for the cycle. These Chicago Cubs prospects mean some serious business. I tip my hat (beanie) to the scouts who discovered these players and drafted them to an organization who desperately needs them.
