Confidence in your starting quarterback is a necessity and Cincinnati Bengals defensive back, Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones is feeling pretty confident about Andy Dalton‘s ability to lead the Bengals to the Super Bowl.

How confident, you ask? 99 percent.

That’s pretty good, but it’s not 100 percent. So what exactly is halting the talented defensive back from giving his full trust in Dalton? A lack of vocal leadership.

Per Pro Football Talk:

"“What would he need to do to get you to 100 percent?” Kuselias asked.“I think he just needs to step up vocally and lead the team but I think he has the tools and all the weapons to lead us there.”"

Dalton doesn’t come across as the most ‘in your face’ type of guy, so I’m not sure Pacman’s going to get what he’s hoping for, at least in that regard. If anything, Dalton simply needs to be more consistent. He’ll go through stretches where he looks like a Pro Bowl talent and moments later, you’ll wonder how he’s an NFL starting quarterback.
